Clark & Green Associates is a nationally recognized, award winning landscape architecture firm, established in 1987. Our Orange County based fourteen member firm is comprised of licensed landscape architects and design professionals, offering full service landscape architectural services for public and private clients.

The company’s commitment to sustainable design is complimented with our design philosophy of “form follows function” and each project requiring a unique design solution. We believe the design process is facilitated through analysis and understanding of the projects physical, cultural and environmental constraints and opportunities married with user needs, client goals and budget constraints.

The company is certified as a small business by the State of California.

 

Bob Clark, ASLA – Sr. Partner

As senior principal of the firm, with over 35 years of professional experience, Bob Clark combines his extensive knowledge of plant materials and construction materials and methods with his love of nature and art.

His work is quite varied ranging from urban design and public spaces to restoration/mitigation. Much of Mr. Clark’s career has been spent working with master developers in the design of large-scale master planned communities. Since Clark & Green’s inception, Mr. Clark has advocated and integrated native California and drought tolerant planting design into projects.

Bob Clark has worked closely with public agencies, fire authorities and homeowner associations to facilitate an appreciation of our southern California native landscape heritage.

Michael Green, ASLA – Sr. Partner

As senior principal of Clark & Green Associates, with over 30 years of experience, Michael Green oversees project management and design for the firm.

Mr. Green graduated from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona in 1981 with a master’s degree in landscape architecture and formed Clark & Green Associates in 1987.

During his career, Mr. Green has worked with the City of Westminster Planning Department and the Port Authority for the City of Long Beach Environmental Impact Research Preparation and Risk Management Assessment. He is also an ASLA award winner.

Mr. Green has specialized in community residential, urban streetscape and memorial park planning and design with an emphasis on water management and conservation. He has completed several cutting edge projects implementing a water quality management focus.
